## Overview
K-Display supplies equipment carts, analyzer housings, control enclosures, bed bases, and nurse-station cabinets in stainless steel or carbon steel, powder coated, with casters, hinges, and latches installed. Cart frames are the clearest case in medical sheet metal fabrication: IEC 60601-1 requires mobile equipment not to overbalance in any transport position of normal use on a plane inclined 10 degrees from horizontal. ## Process
- Cut, form, and weld the frames: We laser cut and form the sheet, then MIG and TIG weld the carts, frames, and housings.
- Blend, fit hardware, then coat: We blend or grind the welds you specify so wiped surfaces stay smooth, install self-clinching hardware, and mask the bonding points before powder coat. We apply marking to the finished surface.
- Assemble to the bill of materials: We assemble purchased components to your bill of materials, label each unit, and pack carts and housings with their hardware kitted.

## Typical parts
- Equipment carts and mobile stands: Welded or bolted frames, columns, shelves, and caster plates for monitoring and imaging carts.
- Analyzer and diagnostic housings: Formed housings around laboratory analyzers and diagnostic instruments, with display, port, and vent cutouts and a side cover that comes off for service.
- Electrical and control enclosures: Power and control boxes for imaging systems, patient monitors, and diagnostic equipment, with mounting panels and cable entries.
- Equipment frames and bed bases: Welded steel bases and support frames under patient-handling and treatment equipment, drilled for its mounting pattern.

## Requirements
- Cart geometry and caster mounting: Frame geometry, base footprint, and caster mounting pattern, with the load the cart carries.
- Wiped-surface material and finish: Stainless steel or carbon steel, the powder coat system and gloss, and the disinfectant the surface is wiped with, since the service environment sets the coating system.
- Revision and marking: The drawing revision on the order, the part identification, and the label or decal artwork with its location.
- Cutouts and bonding points: Display, port, and vent cutout positions, and the location and stud size of each bonding point.
- Thickness and weld details: Thickness for each part, with weld locations and the contour the specified welds are blended or ground to.
- Hardware and purchased components: Casters, hinges, latches, and handles by manufacturer and part number, and the purchased components in the bill of materials, with who supplies each.
